Purchased in March 2006, the Nevada City Tech Center is the premier business park in the Nevada City/Grass Valley market.  The 45-acre property has entitlements in place for 210,000 sq.ft. of office and R & D space.  The site offers a unique setting for a business community.  It is heavily wooded with 20 acres of open space, jogging trails, a picnic area and other amenities.  Each of the 10 buildings have been sensitively sited to respect and enhance the natural environment.  The first building was completed in May 2007 and is now fully leased to 2Wire Inc., a leading supplier of broadband equipment, as its research and development headquarters.  Liberty Hill is the second building, which was completed in May 2008.

Campus has recently secured approval to add a residential component to the Tech Center which will comprise 59 homes carefully sited in the trees and alongside a creek.  The residents will have access to the trail system and have a short walk to two schools, shops, services, transit and potential employment in the adjacent office buildings.  The homes will be designed with "sustainability" as a priority, will incorporate numerous energy reducing features with extensive and will move the Tech Center towards the goal of being a landmark of "Smart Growth" development.
