Vodafone Plaza is a 220,000 sq.ft., ten-story office building in Walnut Creek, California.  Situated immediately adjacent to the Pleasant Hill BART station, the building is clad in granite and is considered to be one of the finest suburban buildings in the Bay Area.  In his capacity as President of Taylor Woodrow's commercial division, Robert Upton was responsible for obtaining all the necessary entitlements, overseeing the entire development and for leasing and subsequently selling the building.

Upon completion, the building was leased to Pactel Corporation and Basic American Foods as their headquarters and then sold to an institutional investment fund managed by J.P. Morgan.  The adjacent property was also entitled and sold as an Embassy Suites Hotel.
