Michael Hooper has over 35 years of experience in real estate investments and development, in both the United States and the United Kingdom. A long-time resident of the Bay Area, Michael qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the world’s largest real estate professional organization and holds a California Real Estate Brokers License. Michael founded Campus Properties with Robert Upton in 1998 to develop quality projects in Northern California that would have a lasting positive impact on their communities. Since that time Campus has completed many complex real estate transactions in some of the most challenging jurisdictions in the State.

Michael has developed a wide range of projects in his career including walkable, transit-oriented developments and sustainable communities. He also has specialized in Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects for families and seniors. Michael understands land use planning in California and uses that knowledge to maximize value.

Robert Upton has over 35 years of experience in real estate investment and development, in both the United States and Europe. A long-time resident of Northern California, Robert qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in the UK and holds a California Real Estate Brokers License. Robert founded Campus Properties with Michael Hooper in 1998 to develop quality developments in Northern California that would have a lasting positive impact on their communities. Since that time Campus has completed many complex real estate transactions in some of the most demanding jurisdictions in the State.

Robert has developed a wide variety of commercial and residential projects during his career and focuses on walkable, transit-oriented and sustainable communities. He has advised international investors, government agencies and public companies on maximizing the value of their real estate assets.

Robert has been appointed by the State Superior Court to act as a Receiver in real estate matters in Solano and Sonoma Counties. He has been an invited speaker at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference and The Urban Land Institute’s Conference.
